Terms & Conditions Overview

We ask new clients to please arrive 10 minutes ahead of schedule to complete any required paperwork.

Dermatech Aesthetics recommends a consultation before any treatment. Deposits for consultations are redeemable if a booking is made or complimentary if booking in conjunction with a treatment within the same appointment booking.

Whilst we all love children, in the interest of health and safety, children/babies cannot accompany Clients in the treatment rooms or be supervised by staff. Thank you for your understanding.

Before and after images are examples of results achieved by Dermatech Aesthetics for specific patients and not necessarily indicative of standard final results.

Results will vary for each person, we cannot guarantee/promise any individual results due to factors outside of Dermatech”s control e.g. skin variants, medication, pre & aftercare etc.

As results will vary between individuals initial and follow up appointments are required for certain treatments to achieve the desired result. These are not complimentary unless offered at the discretion of the clinic owner.

The number of treatments required will vary from one treatment and individual to another and is discussed at your consultation.

Dermatech reserves the right to assess suitable treatment options for the client and to refuse treatment for the client if deemed not suitable.

Conduct Policy

Dermatech Aesthetics is a safe space and sanctuary for our clients. We reserve the right to refuse treatment and entry to anyone who is deemed to display disruptive, aggressive, abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour towards any of our staff, clients, property or business.

Technical Faults

We aim to provide you with the best possible service at all times, however, due to no fault of our own there may be times on vary rare occasions where equipment failure is inevitable. In the event that this occurs, appointments may be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled without much given notice.

Technical faults are addressed as soon as they arise and testing is undergone before the technology is used again. Whilst we understand that this may be an inconvenience for you, we will execute all possible options in order to service you as planned before opting to move your appointment.

Promotional Pricing

Promotion pricing applies to specified treatments only & is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Promotional pricing will only apply to new bookings made and during the promotion period.

Dermatech reserves the right to end a sale or amend pricing at any time without prior notification or advertisement.

Gift Card Policy

An expired voucher will not be accepted.

Lost, stolen or damaged cards cannot be replaced.

Vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase and may be limited to instore or online-only promotions.

Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund or move any remaining balances onto a new gift card.

 

Adverse Reactions/Allergic Reactions

Whilst all precaution and care is provided to provide quality, safe and highly effective services and products, Dermatech Aesthetics cannot guarantee a client will not have an adverse or allergic reaction.

In the rare event a client experiences an adverse reaction from one of our services, treatments or products, please follow the below protocol:

  • If using a product – stop use immediately and try not to aggravate the area or touch/pick
  • If in-clinic treatment will immediately cease
  • Seek immediate medical attention if necessary
  • Take a photo of the affected area with a description and email to hello@dermatech.com.au
  • If reaction is in-clinic, photos will be taken for your/our records
  • Organise an in-clinic review appointment as soon as possible in order for the clinic to assess the reaction and move forward with the a resolution
  • We will offer solutions to resolve any adverse or allergic reaction if applicable or possible
  • Resolutions and Refunds are respected in accordance with our Refunds Policy

REFUNDS POLICY

Refunds will be provided where required in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Dermatech Aesthetics has a strict ‘no refund’ policy on purchases for change of mind reason.

Dermatech Aesthetics reserves the right to determine a suitable alternative treatment or credit for the client, in the event of a complaint or adverse reaction.

Dermatech Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse treatment if deemed not suitable for the client.

CANCELLATION /BOOKING POLICY

A CARD HOLD IS REQUIRED TO SECURE ALL ONLINE BOOKINGS. CHARGES ONLY APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:

The treatment deposit for your booking will only be deducted if your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 4 days of the appointment.

The full treatment amount will only be deducted if your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours  of the appointment

We understand that you may need to change your appointment at any moment; however, we kindly ask to provide at least 4 days cancellation/reschedule notice via the online booking portal book.dermatech.com.au or in writing hello@dermatech.com.au. This is so we have enough time to offer that appointment to another client as a lot of treatments at Dermatech Aesthetics are booked in advanced.

How do I sign into my booking account to change or cancel my booking? Your login password is the mobile number you signed up with.

Cancellations or reschedules are required no less than 4 days before your appointment date.

Cancellations/reschedules/no-shows within 4 days of appointment date will incur the deposit fee associated to the treatment booked (shown at time of booking).

Cancellations/reschedules/no-shows within 48 hours or less prior to your appointment will incur the full treatment booking amount fee. This is simply for the lack of time to refill the booking and business costs at such short notice and is never personal.

If you are unable to attend your appointment and do not provide Dermatech Aesthetics with 48 hours notice or you fail to turn up for your appointment the full treatment amount will be required.

The terms and conditions will be be displayed clearly when making your online booking.

Please note a Cancellation/Reschedule deposit or treatment fee may only be waived only at the owner’s discretion and cannot be guaranteed. Please email hello@dermatech.com.au with any questions.

Product, Refund and Returns Policy

Our product refund and returns policy is valid 30 days from purchase. If 30 days has passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Services
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our/product error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery/purchase

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and we will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then a credit or refund will be applied to your credit card (or original method of payment) or client account.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please be patient, it can take up to 7 days for reversals/transfers.

After 7 days please check your bank account again

After 7 days with no refund please contact us

If everything on our end looks correct then we will ask you to contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a digital or physical gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they may find out about your return.

REFUNDS POLICY

Threats of defamation or blackmail in return for credits, refunds, goods or services is illegal, will not be tolerated and taken very seriously.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to Dermatech Aesthetics, 93 Bathurst St, Parcel Collect 10011 02605, 7000 Hobart.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
